A Shopify refresh that fixed what customers could actually feel: a slow cart, a broken newsletter, and zero upsell.
A site slowed down by what customers never saw
Third-party scripts had piled up over time, each one added for a good reason on its own, but together they were dragging down page speed in ways that only showed up in an audit, not a glance. The newsletter signup form was failing silently for some visitors due to an AJAX bug, quietly losing email captures with no error on screen. None of it was visible on the surface. All of it was costing the brand money.
Fixing the invisible, building the upsell
We ran a full third-party script audit and cleared out what wasn't earning its keep, then fixed the newsletter form so every signup actually landed. We built a cart drawer upsell using Shopify's recommendations API, giving the brand a real path to a bigger order at the moment customers were already checking out. We also replaced static size charts with custom HTML files rendered as PNGs, so sizing information stayed clean and on-brand across every product page. Copy was handled in step with the build rather than as a separate pass, including an earlier one-sheeter for the Ify Utility Suit launch campaign.
